afew questions
« on: September 18, 2010, 09:30:54 PM »
our chippy razzle is geting on for 9 weeks now and we've let him out afew times and everytime he mostly just hides should i just let him out for longer and not get so worried?

he allso has a running wheel in his cage but hasnt payed any attention to it untill last night when i caught him in it but is there any way i can get him used to it?

when we hand feed him he thinks our finger tips are food sometimes is this normal and is there any way to stop it?

Thanks!!

Time time and more time is all you need and a lot of patience.
As to the sexing if he/she will follow nuts around hold them outside the wire so he/she has to climb exposing the undercarriage for inspection....I would not hold out much hope for being able to hold him/her in your hands for any length of time as very few (except those hand reared from birth) will accept you closing fingers around them, they need to feel they can flee at a split seconds notice from any danger real or otherwise as they see it.
I have three wheels in my outdoor set up but they tend to use just the one between them some don't even sniff it let alone get near it but others are never out of it so it is a thing yours will either use or not depending on their mood.
Just take time and as for letting him/her out the more often the better as long as you don't make sudden movements to frighten....
Best of luck
