I got seven little darlings so far

My little Angie is now proud mother of seven dwarves.
I counted them as she moved them from one box to the other just so I can't lift the lid to look in
Unfortunately I have had to remove camille from the aviary and bring her inside, she lookss exhausted and is as fat as a fat little chippy can get without exploding, I feel she has been holding on to her brood in case Angie takes a dislike to them.
Hopefully she will be calmer and feel safe enough to give birth within the next couple of days.
She is sleeping soundly at the moment so maybe tomorrow I will have better news from her

Good job you finished the children's annexe! 7 babies is good, frightening to see them move them, you have to be crafty and have lifting lids on them all, I soon learnt that. 

Do you live near preston? I'm after 3 females, Do you have any white ones?

Distance is your disavantage again!!! but whilst your up north collecting your males you can divert over to the west and drop my three ladies off, Will have coffee waiting, not really that far out of your way!!!!!!   

Don't worry i will inform Nate who is the trouble maker!! lol Honesty is always the best possibility so maybe  you should own up first!!! lol     

tarcus- great idea about the deposit, if doghouse offers 30,000, I will double it!!!!

Well back to business, Popcorn has settled in really well, He has been left to his own thing this week as I've been back to work and the few times he was up when I was feeding him, he has been coming closer to say hello, I actually thought his was going to jump on my arm at one point, He watches me all the time, so fingers crossed he will soon be raiding my pockets!!!

Funny you should say that Sarah, while i was finishing fitting the mesh to the safety porch Sharon was inside. I wired the side with the door in one piece then cut the wire after to free the door. For a while she was totally trapped inside the aviary and it was a big decision to make whether i should cut the door free or not

You sound so mean!!!!!!!!!! lol I'm sure Sharon will be thinking of a fitting revenge for later!!

I once trapped my self in the porch! 

I use gate latches ( the ones that you can slam shut, n press the top and it opens) I had thick garden twine on them so I could open from both sides, so after a year one eventually snapped whilst I was inside. Was in there for 20mins before A neighbour across the backs came to a upstairs window, to see me jumping and try to wave in a very confined space, he took a couple of looks to realise I was shouting HELP,      So to the rescue he came, Had never spoke to him before so you can imagine my embarrassment, he was laughing his head off. Have since put wire on. I actually thought i was going to spend the night in there.      They say you learn from your mistakes! well I did!! lol
