Hi and thanks for looking at my post.

We currently have available around 30 chipmunks both male and female along with some babies. They have lived together for a number of years in a Large outdoor Aviary as they were inherited from my sister who is an RSPCA Inspector.
They seem very settled and had a large number of babies last season but due to emigration we sadly are seeking loving homes for them. (preferably outdoor aviary only as thats what they are used too.) Ideally it would be someone reasonably experianced as I am unable to sex them myself and they could also help with the catching!!
Although they are happy around humans and will eat nuts from your hand they are very fast when trying to catch them.

I would like as many of them to stay together as possible, but understand that not many people have the space or equipment to do this. If someone wanted to set up a new large Aviary and wanted a ready made colony then I would be happy to allow them to go for free.

The most important thing is they are well cared for and have a good loving home.

They are great charactors and my kids have loved them dearly, they are also very easy to care for.

Please feel free to call me to discuss the re-homing in further detail.

My aviary is attached to my brick built shed, so sorry cant dismantle, but any large aviary adapted for them is fine, they would need indoor area and double mesh out side to deter cats but other than that its easy to adapt ordinary aviary, 30 ish sounds a lot but I only ever see a handful at a time and believe it or not despite having lots of nest boxes they all share about 7 only!

Hello Vicky,

i'd be interested in your chipmunks, i've been looking for a white female for several years now and i'd be able to have one or possibly two females. We're experienced chipmunk owners, have owned them for 11 years.

I'd love to hear from you, you can email me at jennifer.chipmunk@lineone.net

Thanks Jennifer

Hi Poldark, I think Vicky got all hers rehomed, but it's worth you sticking a post in the 'chipmunks wanted' section on this board. Good luck with you search, Nate.
