do u think this is kk for them as i have just made the outside cage for them as i had only 1 then  but now i have 5 lol

there same to love it more outside a lot bigger cage more for them to do  just put a load of rope in  there for them 

ive had chipmunks for 6years about now  but the last time i put them outside in my old house i only had 2 1male  1 female  and she had babys but she had 12 babys witch i didnt no she had i only new when i went in and the male was going crazy when i look she was dead and all the babys where aswell didnt no why aswell and he wasnst the same after that



is so hard to find a site like this one ive had them 6yrs and looked all over the net but nothink  so i will be here for a while lol

the cage i build above goes outside from a shed  as u can see one of the chipmunks comeing out i do go in the cage with them and feed them and there  are all tame


iam going to build a new cage next to the one i have just done aswell    and in the shed iam going to bring it right up  the bigger the better for them

inside made bigger now


outside getting made bigger aswell

h/ 7ft    l / 16ft with inside the shed when done

The size of the aviary looks fine they will have plenty of room to run around in there.

I have 2 suggestions.

Firstly maybe an idea to double mesh with say an inch space between they layers of wire. It stops the local cat populations claws getting through.

Secondly is there any bare wood the chips can gnaw through if so put mesh over that to stop them.

Apart from that it looks great.

this part of the cage is inside a shed  its the inside bit i have put photos of


and i allways double mesh outside bit  not that i need to like as got 2 dogs and will kill any cat that may cum in the garden lol


will post more photos as we get it done


will be out there all today i think lol
