Congratulations on the babies, what a surprise. They won't look Cinnamon if dad isn't a Cinnamon. If one parent is an Agouti all the babies will look Agouti too but they will be 'Cinnamon carriers'. If bred to a Cinnamon they will then have some Cinnamon babies or a bred to another 'Cinnamon carrier'. I have a Cinnamon Bailey and have been looking for another Cinnamon or 'Cinnamon carrier' to breed with him. My Hazel (R.I.P. and Ginger (R.I.P.) were pure-bred Cinnamons. Abigail may be pregnant again so hoping for more babies soon, she's def being hostile to Bailey. Her babies will be 'Cinnamon carriers' but again will look Agouti. If ok with you and if you have a female baby and you are willing to sell, would it be possible to do a swap with one of Abigail's 'Cinnamon carriers'. That way next year you will have another Chipmunk carrying the Cinnamon gene and will def get Cinnamon babies from Meg.
I have bred three litters of pure-bred Cinnamons, both parents were Cinnamon and all the babies were too. With a Cinnamon carrier you will get Agouti in the litter aswell but at least some will be Cinnamon
