Scrat & Chip

Here are some pics of our 2 chipmunks Scrat & Chip.
Scrat is the tamest of the 2 and has just been for his first run out of his cage today and he seemed to enjoy it very much running all around the room and over me exploring the surroundings.
Chip is alot more shy and retreats into his nest box when we go into the room where we keep them. However Chip seems to be the most dominant of the 2 when they are alone.

They are really good pics and it is great to see each others chipmunks.
When I first got Lucky she was very shy and would go to bed when we came into the room. After a few weeks of talking to all of them gently and feeding them all monkey nuts. Lucky soon came round and now Lucky is the first one to come and see us and runs straight out to explore the living room.
Chip will come round to you, just have sometime and let Chip come to you.

I spend as much time I can in the room where they are so hopefully Chip will get used to me being around quite soon.
Scrat quite happily runs around his cage while i'm in the room and takes monkey nuts from me as i offer them to him through the wire, he's a cheeky chipmunky lol
